Thanks to you, I will be attending this year’s 2015 Annual AAFCO Meeting! I can’t tell you how important your support is and how much it means to me. I am truly honored and grateful to have so many wonderful readers who appreciate the work I do by showing their support with donations and kind words of encouragement.

Together, we are making progress, even though there are only two other independent pet food consumer advocates, Susan Thixton of Truth About Pet Food and Dr. Jean Hofve of Little Big Cat, we are a powerful voice.

The pet food industry pays close attention to the work we do and the consequence our work has on their industry: the burden of meeting the increasing level of consumer demands and expectations for safe pet food.

As a result of the work we do, consumer consciousness has been raised to a level it never has before in history. Today, consumers today are savvy, informed, educated, and more than a little pissed off. We like that.

What is unique about the work we do, is that we are not supported by the pet food industry, and because we don’t take money for advertising, we rely entirely on donations from private individuals, like you, to support our important work. We struggle to make ends meet, but maintaining our ethics, our integrity and our independence is possible because of your support. We thank you for that.

It is with help, from supporters like you, who allow us to continue this important work. With your help, we remain peerless in our effort to give you information on the pet food industry that is not influenced by any conflict of interest. Our only interest is in helping pets and the people who love and care for them.
